Rev Dan Morgan

Dan is married to Sharon and has three adult daughters: Rebekah, Emily and Naomi.
As a teen Dan spent a lot of his time working on Welsh sheep and dairy farms before training in Agriculture. After working in the agricultural industry for some time he qualified as a teacher and then taught Biology in Ysgol Brynhyfryd, Ruthin for many years before ordination in the Church in Wales and joining the Mold Mission Hub as Curate.
Dan enjoys being in the great outdoors – running on the Clwydian hills, cycling adventures on local country lanes and mountain scrambling in Snowdonia. He enjoys playing his acoustic and bass guitars, sampling great coffee and eating pretty much any type of food!
Dan says he finds it a privilege and a joy each day to be able to play a part in sharing God’s love with the people of Mold, Northop and the surrounding areas as part of the Mold Mission Hub.

Esther Andrews

Hello, I’m Esther! I never know how to start when writing about myself, but I guess the most important thing to know is my favourite food?! I adore Reese’s Pieces chocolate…but nothing is better than a curry stuffed with red chillis and paneer. I also love superheroes, and even have Marvel wallpaper! Walking is what keeps me sane, and going up hills or into woods is an important part of my prayer life. My favourite Bible characters are Jesus, Moses and Esther (of course!), and my favourite books are Harry Potter (I’m a Ravenclaw). I have been married to Jon since 2011, and we have two beautiful children who keep us on our toes. I’m pretty sure that God asked me to do youth work so I can benefit from young people’s wisdom, rather than the other way round! I want every person to know their inestimable worth, beauty and significance in the eyes of our loving God.

Ryan Denton

Ryan is a youth worker who is involved in multiple areas of youth work around the mission area. Ryan works within The Alun School and Ysgol Maes Garmon as well as other primary school around the mission area. He also works with the Parkfields Community Centre and helps the running of their kids club.
Ryan graduated from NTC in Manchester with a Degree in Theology (Youth and Community) last year and has been working in Hope Street Church in Wrexham where he grew up. He joined the Mold Mission Hub team in May of 2023 as our youth worker.
Ryan is passionate about seeing young people come to know Jesus and especially likes to make space for listening one to one as part of caring for the personal growth of others. Ryan loves leading worship, playing the guitar, drums, and singing. And he is excited to see how God moves in Mold in the next season

Dawn Wolstenholme

I grew up attending Northop Church with my family, parents Sheila, Jack and sister Tracy – also with my nephew Aled.  We are a family who love spending time together enjoying the outdoors, good food, music and literature.  When alone, my favourite past-time is watching such programmes as comedies and sci-fi.

I currently work as an Assistant at Flintshire Council and love engaging with others and those we try to support, who are vulnerable people… However, I also began training as Lay Reader with Martin in Bistre church during covid.  They were a wonderful church who worked to support each other and stay together, so when Martin moved to Mold, I came too!  It’s a pleasure to also now work with a team that supports Mold, Northop, and surrounding areas which plays a part in so many people’s lives…

God has blessed me with a life full of people and things I love and I couldn’t be happier!
